The Industrial visit is an integral part of the Biotechnology course to bridge the gap between industry-academia interactions. Students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. Biotechnology get the opportunity to visit industries relevant to their fields (biotech / Microbiology) where each student gets a unique and memorable learning experience.
During this visit students learnt about the various bio-analytical and bio-physical techniques used in the field of Biotechnology in R&D sector. The visit covers the area such as molecular biology, fermentation technology and plant tissue culture which are the fundamental part of the curriculum of the course of Biotechnology. These industrial tour provides an insight on how companies work and also provided useful information related to the course which cannot be visualized in lectures.
